It is gentle enough for all skin types, but is an especially great bar soap for cleaning dry skin due to the inclusion of calendula petals. Calendula, from the marigold family, has excellent skin-soothing properties to aid with dryness and sensitivity. Calendula adds both antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties to this soap and has shown effectiveness in healing wounds, assisting with psoriasis and to treating dermatitis. We incorporate a generous amount of the Calendula flower into the soap in order to get the maximum benefit from the calendula properties.
